Hyiono is an infamous high school journalist and head of her schools news paper club. She is a bubbly, happy, energetic, forward and talkative person. She was tagging along with Ayumu Narumi to help him discover the mystery of the blade children and find his older brother. Later we find out that she is a spy; her background and a lot of personal information remains a mystery. There is definitely some romance between Ayumu and Hyiono but their destinies don’t seem to be connected for long. We don’t know Hyiono’s age for sure just that she is somewhere in her early mid twenties. She is pulled from the series when Ayumu and she begin working with the blade children so the fact that she is a spy has yet to be uncovered and she is still introducing herself as a high school student. Her real name is unknown.

Hyiono is very clever and a quick thinker, her confidence comes close to overconfidence. She is very much an extrovert and once she gets to know people she never loses faith in them believing in them to the end. She is very loyal to her friends and is very fond of delicious cooking. Her hearing is very sensitive which helps in gather information.

Her skills with computers are as amazing as her hacking abilities and she has access to over one hundred resources. Being an information specialist moral dilemmas are frequent. She blackmails others when it seems needed but doesn't overly enjoy it. She keeps an arsenal of things on her which include: a taser, lock picks, knife and other small objects.

She keeps a note book called Hyiono's data which is information she collects known only to her. The amount of information she gathers on people seems to intimidate or scare others.

She has an attack called "Deadly Hyiono Punch!" which involves bombarding someone with a bunny and bear puppet that is kept on her person. It doesn't do anything except annoy the target.
